Hypothesis

In the science fiction world of Enders Game convincing victories prevent repeated conflict which are propelled by fear of conflict, thus helping Ender deal with the label forced upon him ‘the chosen one’.

In the science fiction world of Enders Game alliances and power portrayed through the Warsaw alliance and the power Locke/Peter and Ender who are supposed to know about defeating the Russians and Buggers, are propelled by xenophobia the fear of other races forces countries and the coming together and elect a leader.

In the science fiction world of Enders Game character development is propelled by fear of disappointment.
